I experimented with making Mint Green colored candy melt yesterday. I searched the web for any help on what combination of candy melt colors would make a minty green color.  I found most people used the Mint Green Food Gel and some suggested mixing regular green and white but never gave any information on just how much of each. Since I didn’t want to use the Mint Green Food Gel (water-based food coloring can seize up chocolate) I opted for mixing the white and green.

I was pleasantly surprise that white with just a bit of green gave the nice light mint green color I wanted. 🙂

I used 8oz of White Candy Melts plus 1/4oz Green Candy or 96 White Candy Melts/Wafers plus 3 Green ones.
